The Flo-Torq II System, Quicksilver uses brass and Delrin – an advanced, noncorrosive plastic from DuPont® – that virtually eliminate any opportunity for hub corrosion. In comparison, competitor systems use brass, aluminum and plastic components – resulting in a higher probability that the parts will corrode and fuse together. Thus making propeller replacement almost impossible. Flo Torq II modular propellers let you easily remove the hub from your propeller and install it in to a prop with a different pitch, or from an aluminum prop to a stainless steel propeller. Will also fit a variety of competitive brands. Just remove the old prop and slip on a new one. In the event of a propeller impact, the Delrin sleeve in the Flo-Torq II System is designed to break away, resulting in less damage to the engine, drive and propeller. And even better, the sleeve can easily be replaced by you! Competing hub systems take longer to break away after impact, increasing the risk of major damage to both the engine and the drive.
